Caroline Hannah Eve Dworin was born in London and moved to the United States at thirteen years old.
She attended Bard College, receiving a B.A. in cultural anthropology, and earned her
M.A. in arts and culture from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.

Currently, she is living in Manhattan, writing for The City section of The New York Times, and working on a novel.
(She has published a single cartoon in The New Yorker.)
